Job Description:
Provide computer application support for business unit
requirements and will support Optimum Lightpath Applications and its end users.
Act as the interdepartmental interface between business users and
the Operations and Development Department. Perform computer
application support, ad hoc reporting, training, research, and problem
resolution. Leverage experience with Salesforce, LifeRay, Kenan, Oracle and
SQL, communication and file transfer protocols and other related
application software. Maintain existing rate plan tables for usage,
recurring charges, non-recurring charges, contracts, discounts and other
adjunct tables required to process billing records through the billing
system. Analyze and correct problem orders not processed through the
normal order management system. Provide direct assistance to users in
the utilization and interpretation of software tools and products,
including interfacing with software vendors to provide solutions to
business problems. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Applications, Information Technology or related field (willing
to accept foreign education equivalent) plus 2 years of experience
performing quality assurance and testing for web and database
applications. Also requires: 1) Demonstrated Expertise (DE) utilizing SQL to perform data
extraction, transformation and loading and for developing queries and
triggers; 2) DE utilizing Salesforce to design, setup and maintain
Salesforce standard objects and custom objects, and to structure user
roles, security profiles, workflow rules and validation rules on standard/custom fields; 3) DE utilizing Benthic Software to
develop queries and scripting on Oracle databases; 4) DE utilizing Data
Loader client application for the bulk import or export of Salesforce
records; 5) DE developing detailed reports using SharePoint to update
internal application status; and, 6) DE interfacing with business and
IT professionals throughout the entire project life-cycle to
