Summer Intern - Procure to Pay on the Finance Team to help us
expand what’s possible for patients with serious diseases. In this
role, you’ll be reporting to the Director, Procurement Operations &
SRM. The Insmed Summer Internship Program is designed to give you
more than just a glimpse into the pharmaceutical industry—it’s a
chance to make a real impact. Over the course of the summer, you’ll
gain hands-on experience, contribute to meaningful team projects,
and learn directly from skilled professionals who are invested in
your growth. The Insmed Summer Internship Program gives students an
opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a corporate environment
in the pharmaceutical industry, receive mentoring from highly
skilled professionals, and work on dynamic team projects. Our 2026
Summer Intern program is a full-time (40 hours per week), paid
internship. The internship may present opportunities for rotational
assignments within the function, and the intern will be assigned
goals and objectives that will support the strategic business plan
of the company. What You'll Do: In this role, you’ll have the
opportunity to support Insmed’s Procure-to-Pay (P2P) transformation
by assisting with data integrity, process analysis, and system
readiness efforts as we prepare for the implementation of our new
financial system. You’ll also: Assist with supplier data clean-up,
validation, and maintenance to ensure accuracy across procurement
and accounts payable systems Conduct data analysis to identify and
correct duplicate or inactive supplier records and purchase orders
Help organize and catalog contract documentation to ensure
alignment between Procurement and Finance records Collaborate with
the Accounts Payable team to assist in invoice review, payment
reconciliation, and other AP-related tasks Participate in
cross-functional meetings with Finance, Procurement, and IT to
support the new system implementation Contribute to ad hoc projects
aimed at improving data governance and process efficiency within
the P2P function Who You Are: You are a current student working
toward a Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, Business
Administration. You are or you have: Strong analytical and
organizational skills with close attention to detail Proficiency in
Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools Excellent written and
verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and in a
collaborative team environment An interest in process improvement,
financial systems, and data accuracy Nice to have (but not
required): Coursework experience in procurement, finance, or data
management Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Experience working with
supplier master data, contracts, or purchase orders Where You'll
Work This is a hybrid role based out of our Bridgewater, NJ office.
You’ll work remotely most of the time, with in-person collaboration
