for a thriving services firm as a Bookkeeper/AP Specialist? We have
partnered with a growing firm on their search for a Bookkeeper/AP
Specialist with strong understanding of basic accounting
principles. In this Bookkeeper/AP Specialist role, you will assist
with cash applications, account reconciliations, financial audits,
credit card statements, assist with supplier invoicing, maintain
all aspects of the billing process, assist with manual check
generation and ACH, assist with budgeting as needed, maintain the
general ledger and prepare journal entries. The ideal individual
will have strong understanding of accounting principles and
procedures, excellent organizational skills and keen attention to
detail. Major Responsibilities · Record and maintain financial
transactions including journal entries, deposits, and expenses ·
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable · Maintain
organized and accurate financial records · Support audits and
provide documentation as requested · Assist with month-end close
processes and account reconciliations · Issue invoices, apply
payments, and follow up on outstanding balances · Prepare monthly,
quarterly, and annual financial reports · Assist with cash flow
tracking and analysis The ideal Bookkeeper/AP Specialist will
preferably have a Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance. Other
requirements for the Bookkeeper/AP Specialist role include and are
not limited to: · 3 years of accounting/bookkeeping/AP experience ·
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel · QuickBooks experience required ·
