Finance & Infrastructure Corporate Banking What You’ll Be Doing
Strong Analyst level candidate needed to support the US Project
Finance & Infrastructure team. He/she will focus on supporting deal
teams in executing new lending opportunities, with a goal of
gradually increasing responsibility as their experience and ability
allow. Specifically the candidate will work on financial modeling
and financial analysis, including analysis of counterparty
financial statements. The candidate will also assist in completing
due diligence on new transactions and work with the deal team in
the creation of materials needed to present proposed transactions
to management and credit group. Analyst candidates will also work
with senior coverage team members to assist in the preparation of
marketing materials, pitch books and industry reports. The
candidate will assist the deal team in interfacing with internal
product groups and other stakeholders including Credit & Risk
Management, Environmental Risk Management, AML and KYC departments
and our loans processing and administration functions He/she will
also assist in the on-going monitoring of our loan book, including
annual reviews and waiver/amendment requests. How You’ll Succeed
Assist in completion of due diligence on new transactions Strong
financial modeling and financial analysis skills Prepare materials
for presenting transactions to management and credit group Assist
in closing transactions, including managing internal process and
liaising with external consultants, advisors and legal counsel
Interface with internal product groups, including rates,
commodities, debt capital markets, and investment banking Assist in
creating marketing materials and internal reports Responsible for
on-going monitoring of booked assets Collect, assemble and analyze
market data Who You Are 0-2 years experience You can demonstrate a
positive track record in energy and/or non-energy infrastructure
finance. You have experience building and working in financial

At CIBC, we offer a competitive total rewards package. This role
has an expected salary range of $115,000-$135,000 for the New York,
NY market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the
position. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate
in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which
also may include a discretionary bonus component. CIBC offers a
