Responsibilities + This dynamic position willfocus on the delivery of insights that drive business strategies forProcurement. In partnership with the Global Analytics Lead and peers, theEnterprise Advanced Analytics Senior Associate provides tactical andstrategic analytical support to the Source-to-Settle (S2S) and SpendManagement & Strategy (SMS) Organizations with a portfolio of ongoingsupportive duties including, but not limited to: + Leading global projects thatdeliver new analytics/metrics reporting capabilities for Procurementsectors and categories within the S2S and SMS organizations (commonlyreferred to as the Performance or Analytics Service offerings) + Managing ongoing operationsof existing global service offerings + Ad-Hoc and recurrentanalytical requests and insight studies, as needed + Continual analyticalimprovement as suggested by the Analytics Organization + Provides Advanced Analyticssupport (preparation and delivery of value-added proposition and insights)by addressing Senior Leadership Strategic requests through the use ofadvanced predictive/prescriptive modeling and cutting-edge visualizationtechniques not currently deployed by regional analytics teams + Utilizes internal andexternal data sources and through integration, novel data miningexploration, identification and troubleshooting of data anomalies, thensynthesizes and derives value-added strategic insights + Partners and serves asAccount Manager/Project Leader with outsource analytics suppliers on thedelivery of strategic analytics projects + Exploration that brings inand implements cutting-edge analytical/visualization techniques includingprocesses, procedures and workflows. Explores, pilots, validates,implements and deploys these techniques and services across the regionalanalytics centers + Assembles, cleans, manages,and provides analytics for Procurement datasets in order to enable thederivation of data-based insights + Sustain Performance andanalytical efforts as required in order to ensure the timely delivery ofPerformance and Analytics Service offerings. This includes the delivery ofexisting metrics as well as the delivery of globally relevant publisheddashboards + Identify, lead, andcommercialize strategic projects to step-change the current state ofanalytics across all regions + Lead initiatives tofacilitate skills development in junior associates (i.e., analyticstechniques, basic soft-skills: communications, presentations) + Contributes to the gatheringof analytical efficiencies on a global, regional, local and functionallevel + Develops a process totranslate selected advanced analytics projects worth scaling to serve thebroader Procurement community, and develops a deployment process that theregional analytics organization can subsequently leverage as a regionalanalytics service offering + Provides advanced analytics,on-boarding and training to the regional analytics team members wheneverneeded + Understand business needs viaVoice of the Customer analysis with senior leadership that translatesinformation to viable analytical projects that should be scaled anddeployed worldwide + Anticipates potential dataneeds and provides value added solutions to the customer in a more timelyand efficient manner Qualifications + A Bachelor's degree isrequired, with a preferred concentration in Statistics, Economics,Finance, Business Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or relatedfields + A minimum of five (5) yearsof related experience is required + Quantitative disciplineexperience required + Strong analytical skills arerequired + Experience in the use ofvarious analytical tools such as data management/query tools is required + Experience using statisticalmodeling (ex. SAS, SPSS, etc.) is preferred + Experience using advancedvisualization software (Tableau, Qlik, Cognos Alteryx etc.) is required + Stakeholder managementexperience is required + Strong attention to detailand accuracy. Ability to quickly merge and summarize data/information frommultiple sources, including experience in data management, cleaning, dataanalysis and report writing required + Proficiency in MicrosoftOffice and computer skills is required. Advanced use of Microsoft Excel(including pivot tables, lookup procedures and complex formulas withnested logic) is required + Independent and creativeself-starter, able to work with limited supervision + Strong project/accountmanagement skills with an ability to manage and prioritize multipleinitiatives in a dynamic environment with tight timelines are required.Demonstrated success in working with an outsource analytics partner andleading projects on-time and on budget is required + Excellent Englishcommunication/presentation skills (written, spoken) in order to providesuccinct, concise and insightful analysis/concepts and actionablerecommendations to a non-quantitative senior stakeholder audience + Previous exposure orexperience in a procurement function preferred + Experience and exposure toglobal and matrix organizations preferred + Customer-focused andexperience working in a shared service environment preferred + PMI, FPX, or other projectmanagement certification preferred + Six Sigma Green Belt and/orDesign Excellence certification preferred + Ability to travel up to 10%of the time domestically and/or internationally is required Johnson &Johnson is an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer.
