Job Description:

H&K Group, Inc., a respected leader in the construction materials industry since 1968, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Pipe Foreperson to oversee our pipe crew operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring high-quality installation and maintenance of piping systems across our numerous project sites throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising, planning, and ensuring safety compliance in all pipe-related activities in accordance with H&K Group's standards of excellence. Supervise and coordinate the activities of the pipe crew to ensure efficient job execution. Inspect work sites to monitor performance and adherence to safety standards, specifications, and contractual obligations. Train and mentor crew members on safe operation techniques and company procedures. Coordinate with project managers and other department heads to ensure the smooth execution of projects. Manage materials, tools, and equipment required for piping jobs, ensuring they are available and in good working condition. Implement and enforce H&K Group's quality control and safety measures. Prepare and maintain records of operations, including worker performance, equipment usage, and safety practices. Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical documents Knowledge of piping installation, maintenance, and materials Problem-solving skills Ability to work in various outdoor environments and weather conditions Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid driver’s license OSHA Safety certification CPR and First Aid certification (preferred)
