Position Overview We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Director New Jersey Market Leader to spearhead our growth and success in the New Jersey Market. This role is a unique opportunity to lead transformative projects, cultivate strong client relationships, and position DRG Architects as a trusted collaborator for K-12, higher education facilities, Correctional and Justice Facilities across New Jersey. This role also provides significant opportunities for professional growth, including a clear path to achieving a Principal position within the firm. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a growth strategy for New Jersey market. Serve as a thought leader, shaping DRG Architects’ approach to design. Client Development: Build and maintain relationships with school districts, higher education institutions, and stakeholders. Lead business development efforts, including proposals and presentations. Project Leadership: Oversee the design and delivery of education projects, ensuring alignment with client goals, budgets, and schedules. Act as Principal-in-Charge for major projects, upholding quality and technical excellence. Team Mentorship: Inspire, mentor, and develop team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation. Industry Engagement: Represent DRG Architects by attending industry events, conferences, and client meetings. Share thought leadership through presentations, case studies, and publications. Experience and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Architecture Licensed Architect with significant experience in K-12 and/or higher education facility design. Exceptional leadership, communication, and presentation skills. 10 years of project management experience, including large-scale educational projects. 10 years of design team management experience, focused on K-12 Proven success in business development and marketing within the education sector. Expertise in sustainable design practices and familiarity with educational facility standards. LEED/WELL certifications are preferred but not required. Why Join DRG Architects?
