Job Description Job Description Job Summary/Company : Sparks Group has partnered with a fabrication company in Nesquehoning, Pennsylvania and together we are recruiting for an Industrial Electrician to support manufacturing operations by installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment. This role is critical to ensuring safe, efficient, and uninterrupted plant operations in a fast-paced production environment. Responsibilities : Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical systems, machinery, and equipment Diagnose and resolve electrical issues involving motors, drives, PLCs, control panels, sensors, and power distribution systems Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals Perform preventative and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability Troubleshoot AC/DC systems, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and industrial control systems Ensure all electrical work complies with OSHA, NEC, and company safety standards Collaborate with maintenance, production, and engineering teams to resolve equipment issues Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and plant improvement projects Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation Respond to emergency maintenance calls as required Qualifications : Journeyman Electrician status or equivalent industrial electrical experience Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an industrial electrician in a manufacturing environment Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, controls, and troubleshooting techniques Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings Experience working with PLCs, motors, VFDs, and industrial automation systems Strong understanding of electrical safety practices and lockout/tagout procedures Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or off-shift hours as needed Preferred Qualifications : Union manufacturing experience Experience in plastics, extrusion, or injection molding environments PLC troubleshooting experience (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar) Electrical certification or technical trade school training Benefits: Union hourly rate: $32.94/hour Overtime in accordance with union agreement Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, retirement, and paid time off Stable, long-term employment in a manufacturing environment This job is In-Person.
