From our hospitals, rehab centers and occupational health teams to our long-term care centers and at-home care capabilities, our complete spectrum of services will allow you to apply your skills in multiple settings while building your career, all within New Jersey's premier healthcare system.The Manager, Benefits Technology is responsible for development, implementation, and maintenance of human resource benefit activities associated with team member benefits and absence management. Will work with human resources, HMH personnel, vendors, and/or internal information systems staff to design new or modify existing human resource information systems to meet changing requirements.Position will be located in Edison, NJ.ResponsibilitiesA day in the life of Manager, Benefits Technology at Hackensack Meridian Health includes:Responsible for supporting Human Resources and Hackensack Meridian Health business needs. Solutions to the business needs maybe complex and this position will require regular use of ingenuity, creativity and technical knowledge. Lead role in determining the direction of PeopleSoft initiatives. Responsible for leading team to create technical requirements, develop user/business requirements, determine necessary resources and establish project work teams. Develop solutions to complex Human Resources Systems/Technology situations or projects that require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity. Responsible for establishing process and procedures for custom reporting to ensure accuracy and confidentiality of data. Lead PeopleSoft implementation projects, including documentation, design, change management, cost estimation, project management, configuration, testing, production support for all benefit related technology projects.Works actively to achieve system and change acceptance with the benefits department. Must be able to provide advice and counsel relative to best technology, educating users on the different benefits and capabilities of technologies. Responsible for the planning, coordination and execution of HRIS projects. Monitors progress towards achieving set targets and any deviations from set targets, setting a course for correction and future improvements. Directs staff to ensure overall client satisfaction and appropriate level of service delivery. Develops and monitors goals for staff and provides ongoing feedback and coaching. Directs the employment activities of the office that include staffing, development, and training. Ensures staff meets all regulatory requirements and comprehends and complies with best practices, professional standards, internal policies, and procedures.QualificationsEducation, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Human Resources or related field or related experience. Minimum of 2 years of HRIS Lead or Supervisory experience.Minimum of 5 years Human Resources or benefits related experience. Minimum of 5 years of experience with PeopleSoft HRMS benefits administration functionality. Minimum of 5 years Benefit Administration and/or Absence Management experience including documentation, design, change management, cost estimation, project management, testing, configuration, and production support. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. Knowledge of technological/automation theories, principles, and best practices. Ability to multitask in a demanding environment, good organizational and communication skills managing complex multidisciplinary initiatives to improve processes. Requires ability to communicate with technical and non-technical users, management and non-management customers. Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred: Prefer Structured Query Language (SQL) ability.
