Chief Revenue Officer / Head of Business Development remote New Brunswick, New Jersey, United States Full time World Business Lenders provides general purpose short-term real estate collateralized commercial loans from $200,000 - $4,000,000 to a broad customer base comprised of small and medium sized businesses throughout the country. About the Position The primary responsibility of the Chief Revenue Officer/Head of Business Development will be to generate revenue by cultivating and implementing strategic B2B partnerships to drive sales and enhance customer acquisition efforts. The individual in this role will be one of the key leaders of the organization and be instrumental in defining and executing overall business development strategy. The Chief Revenue Officer/Head of Business Development is an executive-level position reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer. Essential Functions

  • Lead companywide sales, marketing, and business development efforts to align all new referral partner acquisition efforts with revenue goals.
  • Establish new business partnerships and revenue opportunities through networking, digital marketing efforts and affinity-based relationship building.
  • Spearhead referral partner contracts and serve as business lead in negotiations resulting in mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Monitor the competitive marketplace and constantly analyze new opportunities for revenue growth via referral sources.
  • Identify cross-sell opportunities with new and existing referral sources.
  • Stringently monitor business development pipeline to ensure achievement of revenue targets on a consistent basis.
  • Measure the performance of all business development activities and campaigns against goals (ROI, KPIs), and adjust strategy/execution as needed.
  • Lead and support other revenue-focused initiatives as needed. Requirements
    • 10+ experience in a corporate business development or sales and revenue management leadership role, ideally in a specialty finance company.
    • Extensive experience in lending (ideally, commercial lending to small businesses) strongly preferred.
    • Demonstrated track record in identifying and closing B2B transactions (including contract negotiation), resulting in increased revenue generation.
    • Proven success in rallying a sales team around overarching vision and revenue goals.
    • Ability to prioritize and to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
    • High energy, positive attitude, proactive problem solver.
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication and networking skills.
    • Solid organizational and analytical skills. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a background check.
      Must be authorized to work in the United States. Effective English communication skills, both written and oral. Compensation and Benefits --- Competitive six-figure compensation package
