Job Description:
RWJBH is seeking a Menu Technician for our Dietary-Management
Department at the New Brunswick campus. This is a part-time,
evening position (25 hours/week). Requirements/Qualifications: -
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required within one (1) year
of hire. - Candidates who do not possess a High School Diploma or
GED equivalent will be provided the opportunity to enroll in a
GED/HSEA program at time of hire as a condition of employment. A
hired candidate will be provided one (1) year from date of hire to
successfully complete a GED program and obtain their HSEA. -
Process room service meal orders in a timely fashion according to
established policies, including patient and family initiated
orders. - Must have excellent customer service skills and proper
telephone etiquette. - Will also have to visit patient rooms to
obtain menu selection. Able to process menu selections for all diet
restrictions based on diet order, providing proper portions and
