About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Control Management
Officer to support Commercial Corporate Investment Banking and
Technology. Provides expertise towards the development and
maintenance of controls.Partnering with the relevant business or
technology groups to identify, assess, manage and mitigate current
and emerging risk exposures associated with their activities and
operations. Monitors, measures, evaluates, and reports on the
impact of decisions and controls to the relevant business group and
enterprise function. Consults and provides guidance to business
groups on the development, implementation, and monitoring of
complex business-specific programs to identify, assess, and
mitigate risk. Consults and supports interpretation of policy,
guidelines, and governance programs as the front line liaison to
Independent Risk Management leaders for moderate to high risk and
complexity enterprise risk programs.In this role, you will:
- Lead complex initiatives designed to mitigate current and
emerging risks with broad impact
- Act as key participant in monitoring, evaluating, and measuring
the impact of decisions practiced in Control Management functional
area
- Monitor moderately complex business specific programs, and
provide risk management consulting to support the business in
designing and implementing risk-mitigation strategies
- Monitor, measure, evaluate, and report on the impact of
decisions and controls to the relevant business group or functional
area
- Develop and implement risk monitoring and risk reporting
processes and controls
- Collaborate with relevant business group to identify current
and emerging risks associated with business activities and
operations, and provide guidance in developing and implementing
risk-mitigating strategies
- Lead Control Management project or virtual teams
- Work with subject matter experts to identify significant
impacts of new or changed requirements, and determine the
appropriate implementation period.
- Identifying and assessing risk for the targeted Technology
Division
- Engage with business groups and enterprise functions to
determine applicable policies, requirements, and controls are
covered within their platforms and/or applications and guide
adoption.
- Providing oversight of control environment regarding people,
process and systems to ensure maximum business results and
effective risk mitigation strategies
- Lead efforts on the technology control team working in a matrix
staffing model to deliver high quality information and support to
targeted CCIBT senior leaders
- Contribute to the advancement of the control design practice to
ensure that identified risk issuesRequired Qualifications, US:
- 5+ years of Risk Management or Control Management experience,
or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the
following: work experience, training, military experience,
educationDesired Qualifications:
- 5+ year of risk analysis and quantification experience
- Six Sigma methodology experience or Agile experience
- Experience reviewing testing strategies and methodologies;
evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of policies, procedures,
processes, initiatives, products and internal controls; and
identifying issues resulting from internal and/or external
compliance examinations
- Knowledge and understanding of strategic planning and
execution
- Ability to create and clearly articulate the target state
including: the execution roadmap, costs, benefits and risks
- Information Security reporting and analysis experience
- Strategic Thinking ability to deliver results against broad
corporate strategies
- Execute according to plans that address specific business
