Coordination (C3) Director provides strategic leadership and
subject matter expertise across all WWP Mental and Brain Health
programs. This role oversees the Complex Case Coordination program,
supporting warriors with the most urgent and multifaceted mental
health needs. With a strong background in integrated care networks
and stakeholder collaboration, the C3 Director leads a national
team delivering intensive, holistic support. The team ensures
seamless coordination across the Veterans Health Administration
(VHA), Department of Defense (DoD) medical systems, and WWP
clinical partners. This role is central to enhancing the quality of
life and health outcomes for warriors facing significant physical,
mental, and emotional challenges by leveraging high-quality
networks of care and maximizing available public and private
resources.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as the primary leadership for the Complex Case
Coordination (C3) Program by providing oversight and accountability
for programmatic goals and objectives.
- Lead WWP's growing residential treatment facility network by
supporting the development of and executing WWP's network strategy,
prioritizing warrior experience, clinical outcomes, and overall
alignment within the Mental Health Continuum of Support.
- Deploy, monitor, and evaluate WWP's strategy for intensive case
coordination targeting warriors with complex, high-acuity mental
health needs.
- Lead the development of protocols and best practices for case
coordination across WWP's Mental Health Continuum of Support
(MHCoS), ensuring alignment with WWP's mission and strategic
goals.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on the VA and DoD medical
systems, providing internal consultation and case direction.
- Monitor network data, identify trends, and collaborate
effectively with executive leadership and the Government and
Community Affairs team to advocate for policy and systemic changes
that benefit warriors requiring intensive, long-term care
coordination.
- Oversee, mentor, and support a team of national case
coordination staff, ensuring consistent quality, compassion, and
effectiveness in service delivery.
- Provide guidance on challenging cases and ensure staff are
equipped with up-to-date training, resources, and support.
- Build and maintain high-quality relationships across the VA,
DoD, TRICARE, and community-based health systems.
- Establish and sustain strategic partnerships with healthcare
providers, government agencies, and community organizations to
ensure wraparound support services for warriors and families.
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of military and VA
health-related policies and procedures, understand the various
treatment options for veterans, and connect them with
resources.
- Support teammates and warriors in overcoming systemic barriers
to care, including navigating benefits, treatment authorizations,
and service coordination.
- Implement tools to measure the effectiveness and outcomes of
complex case coordination efforts at both the network and warrior
levels.
- Ensure compliance with privacy, legal, and ethical standards in
case management documentation and communications.
- Represent WWP at national forums, coalitions, and stakeholder
meetings focused on veterans' complex care.
- Attend and actively participate in required training and/or
meetings, including but not limited to New Teammate Orientation,
WWP Cares, ASIST Suicide Prevention training, Leadership training,
culture/team based training, or departmental huddles.
- Other related duties as assigned.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
- Proven leadership skills with a strong ability to lead in a
dynamic and fluid environment.
- Deep understanding of military and veteran issues, including
the psychological impact of combat such as traumatic brain injury
(TBI), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and combat stress,
particularly among Iraq and Afghanistan veterans.
- Strong knowledge of psychological and mental health challenges,
especially those affecting warriors impacted by trauma.
- Solid understanding of WWP programs and external resources
available to support warriors and their families.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills. Demonstrated
ability to respond to changing priorities and complete assignments
and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, demanding working
environment.
- Highly collaborative team player with well-developed
interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, interpret,
and apply complex data to inform decision-making.

with.EXPERIENCERequirements
- Seven years of experience in case management, behavioral
health, or healthcare coordination, with at least five years in a
leadership or program management role.
- Five years of experience working directly with military or
veteran populations, including those with polytrauma, TBI, PTSD,
and co-occurring conditions.
- Five years of experience coordinating care and navigating VHA,
VA medical centers, and DoD healthcare systems.Preferences
- Familiarity with federal and state-level veteran benefits and
service programs.
- Experience with public speaking and representation in national
forums, coalitions, and/or advocacy settings.EDUCATIONRequirements
- Bachelor's degree in social work, health administration,
psychology, behavioral health, or related field.Preferences
- Master's degree in social work, health administration,
psychology, behavioral health, or related fieldCERTIFICATIONS &
LICENSURERequirements
- Valid state-issued driver's license.
- Ability to obtain ASIST Certification within 1 year of

estimated hiring range for this position is between $127,008 -
$158,760 annual base salary,subject to a candidate's combination of

range for this position is between $139,104 - $173,880 annual base
salary,subject to a candidate's combination of experience,
