Responsibilities of the Telemetry Nurse Manager also include overseeing staffing, scheduling, and education of clinical and non-clinical department staff, assisting with budgets and payroll, developing performance improvement initiatives, enforcing best practices, policy and procedure, and ensuring exceptional patient care is consistently delivered. -The Telemetry Nurse Manager will ideally have previous leadership experience, a telemetry, medical surgical, or observational unit clinical background, and an active RN license.
