The Inpatient Behavioral Health Registered Nurse will have the opportunity to work for a 150+ bed Behavioral Health Facility that is known for providing comprehensive inpatient care for an adolescent, adult and older adult / geriatric population. Not only does this Behavioral Health facility offer Adult Inpatient Services, Dual Diagnosis, Psychiatric Acute Care, Older Adult Services, they also have an array of outpatient treatment, therapeutic, recovery and educational programs available to patients throughout the New Jersey community. -Reporting to the Unit Director, the Inpatient Behavioral Health Registered Nurse will provide exceptional direct patient care to patients either on the Adolescent, Adult, or Older Adult inpatient unit. Responsibilities of the Inpatient Behavioral Health Registered Nurse include administering medication and treatments, collaborating with the treatment team of nurses, social workers, physicians and specialists that ensure patients are receiving customized, continuous care plans that fit their individualized needs, and provide educational material to the patient and their families. Additionally, the Inpatient Behavioral Health Registered Nurse will handle and dispose of infectious and hazardous material, report environmental and safety hazards, immediately document adverse reactions and unusual incidents using appropriate reports, and comply with hospital policy procedures, regulations, and standards of the inpatient facility. -The - Inpatient Behavioral Health Registered Nurse must hold an RN license, have prior clinical experience working in inpatient psychiatric or behavioral health and may also hold an ANCC Psychiatric and Mental Health Certification. -The - Inpatient Behavioral Health Registered Nurse will work at a facility that is located in a beautiful region of central New Jersey.
