Job Description:
Health system in central New Jersey is seeking a highly skilled
Pediatric Surgeon to join their team.The Pediatric Surgeon will
perform professional and administrative services as necessary for
the delivery of high-quality medical services for and on behalf of
the Hospital and its designated affiliates, and their respective
patients. The physician shall provide these services pursuant to a
full-time schedule of office hours and inpatient and outpatient
services. On-call services will be divided up equally with a
minimum of two other Physicians and provided on evenings, nights,
weekends and holidays. Additionally, the Physician shall
participate in and support the teaching programs conducted by the
Hospital by instructing, supervising and evaluating medical
students, interns, residents, and other trainees.Few hospitals in
the area offer the wide array of neonatal and pediatric surgical
services provided at The Children's Hospital. These include
craniofacial neurosurgey for children born with facial
abnormalities such as cleft lip and cleft palate, as well as
procedures to treat epilepsy and brain tumors. They provide
comprehensive general and specialized surgical care to treat
congenital and acquired conditions affecting children from birth
through young adulthood. Our specially trained staff is experienced
in treating common pediatric ailments, such as appendicitis and
hernias, as well as rare or complex conditions. System also offers
