This leadership role is essential for driving strategic direction and ensuring the organization's alignment with the latest trends in medical excellence, particularly through the integration of artificial intelligence, social media, and other digital platforms. The successful candidate will provide clear recommendations on enhancing key areas within global medical affairs, including scientific communication, integrated evidence generation, data dissemination, external scientific engagement, and patient advocacy.In this role, you will set the overall direction for medical excellence in oncology, ensuring that our strategies and initiatives reflect the latest industry best practices and are effectively employed across the organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement cutting-edge digital solutions that advance our medical affairs goals, foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and drive a culture of continuous innovation and excellence.Primary Responsibilities

• Apply your comprehensive knowledge of oncology and proficiency in artificial intelligence to provide guidance and advisory support to the team.
• Set the strategic direction for medical excellence in oncology, making critical decisions that impact the global medical affairs function.
• Lead the integration of digital innovation, including AI and social media, to enhance scientific communication, evidence generation, and data dissemination.
• Align global medical excellence goals with broader organizational objectives, driving joint outcomes across medical affairs.
• Stay informed of industry trends and external environment changes, incorporating insights to inform functional decisions and best practices.
• Oversee the development and execution of consistent methodologies for strategic and tactical planning within medical affairs.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to team members on medical affairs processes, ensuring consistent application of best practices.
• Manage key vendors and partners involved in medical excellence initiatives, ensuring alignment with therapeutic area (TA) goals.
• Liaise with cross-functional stakeholders and medical affairs leadership to ensure alignment and awareness of medical excellence activities.
• Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous development within the medical excellence function.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including industry partners.\r\r
