Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CWR) Location: 2048 Oak Tree Road, Edison, NJ 08820 Assignment Type: 13-Week Contract Schedule: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM - 5 Days/Week - 40 Hours/WeekKey Responsibilities:

• Provide direct hygiene and comfort care including bathing, toileting, oral hygiene, incontinent care, and bed-making.
• Take and document vital signs and report findings to the RN.
• Perform and document glucose finger sticks; collect specimens (stool, urine, sputum).
• Monitor and record daily patient weights, intake, and output.
• Maintain a clean, safe patient environment and respond promptly to call lights.
• Act as a patient sitter when required.
• Identify and adapt care based on patient-specific needs (e.g., age, culture, sensory impairments).
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and caregivers at appropriate developmental and literacy levels.
• Collaborate regularly with medical center personnel, patients, and visitors.Requirements:Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.Certifications:
    • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or nursing student enrolled in a BSN program with completed fundamentals in nursing.
    • Current BLS/CPR certification through the American Heart Association.Experience:
      • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in long-term care (LTC).
      • Familiarity with specialties such as LTC, Subacute Rehab (SAR), Extended Recovery Unit (ERU), and ventilator care.Additional Details:
        • Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
        • Holiday Requirement: 4 out of 6 major holidays
        • Float Requirement: Yes (to SAR, ERU, VENT units as needed)
        • On-Call Requirement: None
