Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Interventional Radiology Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/24/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position with trauma experience and required certifications in New Jersey. Responsibilities Work in Interventional Radiology covering a cancer center and main campus connected by a pedestrian bridge Patient mix includes interventional radiology cases and some conscious sedation recovery Schedule is 4x10 hour day shifts from 8:00am to 6:30pm On-call required 1-2 days per week, averaging 4-6 times per month; on-call RNs assist with PICC line procedures but do not insert Clinicians must be available to work 2 of 3 major holidays during the contract Float required between the main campus and cancer center within the nurse's skillset EPIC is used for charting Responsibilities include providing nursing care for interventional radiology procedures and assisting with conscious sedation recovery RNs may float between units depending on acuity and census First-time travelers and local candidates are accepted No block scheduling available; schedule requests must be approved at time of booking Must not have been employed by the health system within the past year to be eligible Must adhere to the attendance policy, including no call-outs during the final week of the contract and making up missed shifts within the pay period Scrub attire is required per hospital policy Annual and pre-start modules are required, including up to 18 hours of non-billable training Requirements Active NJ or Compact RN license required at the time of consideration Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Minimum of 1.5 years of Level I Trauma experience or 2 years of Level II Trauma experience required A-line and procedural wedge pressure experience required EKOS or similar device experience highly preferred Scrub experience preferred but not required Must complete EPIC training modules prior to start Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-627014.
