Job Description Job Title: Radiologic Technologist Location: RWJ New Brunswick Department: Radiology Diagnostic Req: 0000192790 Status: Full-Time Shift: Night Pay Range: $40.00 - $53.31 per hour Pay Transparency: The above reflects the anticipated hourly wage range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey. The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience. Job Overview: To provide a specialized image of a body part for purposes of medical interpretation. Qualifications: Required: - ARRT Certification in Radiation Technology required. - NJ radiology license required. - Minimum of two (2) years of radiology technician experience strongly preferred. - Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA) required. Essential Functions: - Using medical imaging equipment to produce images of tissues and vessels. - Preparing equipment as needed for use, positioning patients for imaging, ensuring patient safety during exams, quality control monitoring of equipment, and assessing Lead aprons for annual inspection and reports. - This role will also have responsibilities at University Hospital and Plum St. Imaging Center on the New Brunswick Campus. All three buildings are connected by bridge.
