Job Details (Anesthesiologist – East Stroudsburg, PA) Job Title: Anesthesiologist – General Anesthesia Location: East Stroudsburg, PA 18301 Estimated Weekly Pay Range: $9,970–$10,510 per week Setting: Hospital-based anesthesia department (12 operating rooms) Start Date: February 19, 2024 End Date: January 1, 2027 Openings: 5 Hours per Week: 36 Shifts per Week: 5 Shift Duration: 12-hour days Scheduled Shift Time: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Work Time per Shift: 8 hours (excluding unpaid lunch) EMR/Technology: EPIC EMR (including intra-op) Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 3 months to privilege Job Requirements (Physician / Anesthesiology) M.D. or D.O. from an accredited medical school Completion of an approved residency in Anesthesia Must be Board Certified Active Pennsylvania physician license ECFMG and FLEX (as applicable) Ability to supervise CRNAs and work within a care-team model Responsibilities (General Anesthesia / Perioperative Care) Provide safe, high-quality anesthesia services across a variety of surgical specialties Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and develop individualized anesthesia plans Obtain and/or verify informed consent ; educate patients on anesthetic options and risks Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia; support PACU handoff as appropriate Continuously monitor patient physiological status and intervene clinically as needed Coordinate care with surgeons, nursing, and perioperative teams to support OR efficiency and patient safety Supervise CRNAs (typical supervision ratio 2–3:1) with opportunity for your own cases if desired Participate in call coverage as needed (negotiable; preferred) Clinical Scope Case Mix: Orthopedics, general surgery, bread-and-butter cases; rare pediatrics OB: Negotiable Exclusions: No neuro/head cases Workload Notes: Minimal overtime reported Apply now to be considered for this anesthesiologist job in East Stroudsburg, PA .
