- 30 state Licenses) Job Type: Part-Time (20 hours/week) Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-3:00 PM EST (Saturday morning optional)
Setting: Fully Virtual / Remote Specialty: Family Medicine or
Internal Medicine Position Overview We are seeking a
board-certified Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician to
provide high-quality virtual primary care services. The ideal
candidate is tech-savvy, patient-focused, and holds multiple active
state licenses-particularly in CA, FL, NY, and TX. Additional state
licenses are highly preferred. Key Responsibilities Conduct virtual
visits for acute, chronic, and preventive care. Obtain patient
histories, perform virtual assessments, and establish accurate
diagnoses. Prescribe medications and order labs or imaging as
clinically indicated. Manage chronic conditions such as
hypertension, diabetes, COPD, and asthma. Provide preventive care,
screenings, and lifestyle counseling. Offer tele-urgent care for
minor illnesses and non-emergent issues. Document all patient
encounters thoroughly within the telehealth platform.
Qualifications MD or DO with Board Certification in Family Medicine
or Internal Medicine. Active, unrestricted medical licenses
(multi-state strongly preferred). Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical
experience (telehealth experience is a plus). New graduates are
accepted if they hold required state licenses. DEA license (if
prescribing controlled substances). Ideally licensed in at least 5
of the following states: FL, CA, TX, NY, AZ, IL, PA, OH Additional
highly preferred states: MI, NC, GA, NJ, VA, WA, MA, SC, MD, OK,
AR, IA, MS, KS Experience with geriatric populations or a
gerontology fellowship is a plus. Position Details Workload:
Minimum 20 hours per week. Patient Volume: Approximately 3 patients
per hour, typically one-time visits. Patient Population: Primarily
adults 65 . Employment Type: 1099 contractor role. Start Date:
