Job Description:

Carnegie Post Acute Skilled Nursing Facility is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. This position plays a crucial role in providing the highest quality of care to our senior patients, who require post-hospital and post-surgical care. As a CNA, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) to assist in daily living activities and ensuring patients achieve their rehabilitative goals. This role requires reliability, a strong sense of empathy, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Provide daily living assistance to our patients, such as feeding, bathing, and dressing Monitor and report changes in patient health status Assist nurses with patient care plans Support the rehabilitation team in executing specialized therapy plans Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout their care Engage in patient activities to promote mental and physical wellness Document patient interactions and care provided Proficient in patient care and hygiene best practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Good observation skills and attention to detail Ability to follow detailed instructions Physical ability to perform job duties Knowledge of CPR and first aid Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification preferred
