The Department of Orthopaedics & Rehabilitation seeks a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Physician for a full-time faculty position with interest and expertise in both inpatient and outpatient general physiatry. This position will have an expectation of clinical service commitment at the Yale New Haven Hospital region. Opportunities: Academic appointment, start at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor commensurate with experience Diverse practice opportunities in areas such as spasticity, brain injury, stroke, neuro-trauma, and neurorehabilitation. Potential to perform consultation services at YNH and SRC Campus Hospitals. Contribution to program and practice development, medical leadership, teaching, and research. Representing the Department by participating in committees, conferences, and exemplifying the institution at professional meetings and community speaking engagements. Research: if desired, engage in research activities, depending on the wishes and skill set of the candidate. Research is supported and valued.
