role, the Senior Director, Launch Excellence will be responsible
for driving best-in-class launch capabilities and ensuring
successful commercialization of pipeline assets. This role will
establish and lead Launch Excellence throughout the organization,
as well as provide ongoing support/ planning for upcoming launches
in the US. The Senior Director, Launch Excellence will partner
closely with cross-functional launch teams globally and regionally
to develop launch disciplines and establish consistent tools, and
KPIs, ensuring launch excellence against specific business
deliverables. What You'll Do: In this role, you will develop agile
launch strategies to accelerate launch planning, cross-functional
team execution and integrated resource planning in alignment with
the global launch ambition. You’ll also: Lead launch reviews with
the cross-functional brand team against key launch milestones and
objectives by the pre-launch stage Partner with leadership across
all functional areas, including medical and marketing leadership to
ensure there is strategic alignment across product launch teams.
Demonstrate leadership by influencing, coordinating, and partnering
across core and interfacing workstream leadership to ensure launch
readiness. Develop and implement launch metrics and tracking
mechanisms to monitor progress and impact of product launch,
providing insights to support decision-making and drive continuous
improvement Ensure teams meet or exceed their launch readiness
goals by providing strong cross-functional support and management,
driving decision making, facilitating issue resolution,
problem-solving, risk management, contingency planning, and
decision-making Establish and oversee launch excellence frameworks,
tools, and methodologies (including Global and US launch playbook)
across the organization to ensure asset, market, and enterprise
readiness. Establish processes and governance structure to support
new launches and market readiness Drive Pre-Launch and Post-Launch
performance assessments to gather learnings and drive continuous
improvement. Capture lessons learned and best practices to apply to
future brands and launches, evolving the launch playbook
Proactively raise risks within the brand/launch plan to brand and
marketing leads, other functional leaders, and VP. Uses business
and launch expertise to inform risk mitigation strategies and
assess potential resourcing needs. Leads through ambiguity and
change management needed within brand and other functions as
necessary to overcome obstacles and achieve launch success Serve as
a connection point between the Global and Regional launch teams and
US launch team, staying engaged with launch progress and risks and
sharing launch lessons across groups Who You Are: You have a BA/BS
in Business, Marketing, General Management, Biotechnology, or
related field. You also have a minimum 10 years of commercial
experience in one or more of the following functions within the
biopharmaceutical/pharmaceutical, biotechnology or life sciences
consulting industries: marketing, product launches, strategy,
commercial operations, or related function. Additionally you are a:
Team player with the ability to successfully collaborate and
partner in a dynamic and culturally diverse workplace Strategic
thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and an ability to
influence all levels of the company. Excellent communication,
stakeholder management skills and executive presence, with the
ability to influence senior leaders across functions (marketing,
sales, supply chain, finance, global strategy, etc.) An ability to
take hands-on, “roll up your sleeves” approach toward achieving
business results. Ability to quickly gain credibility and
confidence with all levels within the company. Excellent track
record of creating and delivering presentations to senior leaders
and cross functional teams Highly organized with a strong attention
to detail, clarity, accuracy and conciseness Significant experience
in multiple pharma and/or biotech asset/therapy launches Must have
excellent leadership skills; should be an effective team leader
with a track record of successfully developing and upskilling team
members and a proven ability to motivate teams and drive
performance excellence Must have a track record of managing and
leading in a matrix environment. Travel Requirements This role
requires occasional domestic/international travel approximately
10-20% Where You’ll Work This is a hybrid role based out of
ourBridgewater, NJ Headquarters.You’llwork remotely most of the
