As a Talent Development/Assessment PhD Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain excellent experience working in one or more of our specialty areas (e.g., leadership development, assessment, succession planning, etc.). In those domains, you will assess needs, provide consulting and support, and develop solutions for J&J on an enterprise, global, and/or regional level. For example, although some projects may be assigned, you will have flexibility in choosing additional projects in order to further your unique path of learning and growth. A Talent Development/Assessment PhD Intern (May-August 2019) will be responsible for completing projects that deal with strategic business needs related to talent management. Specifically, projects could cover areas such as talent management, leadership development, assessment, change management, and other areas requiring human resources and/or organizational psychology/behavior expertise. These projects will provide exposure to leaders and partners in many groups, teams, and functional areas. Interns will be expected to demonstrate in-depth understanding of talent practices; excellent partnership skills; and exceptional, proactive project management skills.
