Job Description:

ROLE PURPOSE As an Computer Help Desk Technician, your main duties consist of handling telephone calls and e-mail requests from customers who need assistance with troubleshooting computers and peripherals. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Provide technical assistance and education to customers via telephone, remote access applications on computer and peripheral related issues (i.e. basic anti-virus/spyware/grayware protection, basic application operation, wireless applications and data backup) - Troubleshoot via phone, software and operating system problems/failures to identify hardware/software related failures. Formulate and communicate resolutions for computer issues. This includes peripheral equipment such as, but not limited to, monitors, keyboards, and printers/all in-one multifunction - Identify customer's behavior that puts their system at risk. Make suitable recommendations to prevent vulnerabilities and repeat customer contact - Arrange appropriate service for hardware failure through approved service outlets - Assist in escalated matters from customers and service providers - Make recommendations for improvements to Help Desk operations QUALIFICATIONS - Bilingual preferred (English & French) - Minimum 1 year of customer service experience and/or call center experience - Excellent customer service skills and strong communication skills - A working knowledge of PC hardware/software troubleshooting - Ability to analyze and solve problems pertaining to hardware and software on home and small office computer systems - Ability to handle multiple responsibilities concurrently in a fast paced environment - Must have a working knowledge of Windows 10 - Positivism, dynamism, team spirit Rate Of Pay $18.80 per Hour (English only) $19.80 per Hour (English and French) Reprsentant du service d'assistance informatique - CUS18278 Description FONCTIONS titre de technicien de service d'assistance informatique, vos principales tches consistent traiter les appels tlphoniques et les demandes par courriel de la part de clients qui ont besoin d'aide pour rsoudre des problmes lis aux ordinateurs ou aux priphriques. PRINCIPALES RESPONSABILITS TCHES ET RESPONSABILITS FONDAMENTALES Offrir une assistance et de l'information techniques aux clients par tlphone ou par accs distance afin de rsoudre des problmes lis un ordinateur ou un priphrique (c. - d., protection de base contre les virus/logiciels espions/applications potentiellement indsirables, fonctionnement de base des applications, applications sans fil et sauvegarde des donnes). Rsoudre, par tlphone, les dfaillances/problmes lis aux logiciels et aux systmes d'exploitation et dtecter les dfaillances lies au matriel ou aux logiciels. Formuler et communiquer des solutions aux problmes informatiques. Cela comprend l'quipement priphrique, notamment les crans, les claviers et les imprimantes multifonctions tout-en-un. Dtecter le comportement du client qui met son systme risque. Faire des recommandations utiles afin d'viter les vulnrabilits et la rptition des appels du client. Prvoir les rparations pertinentes, par l'entremise de centres de service autoriss, en cas de dfaillance de matriel. Aider rsoudre les problmes prioritaires des clients et fournisseurs de services. Formuler des recommandations d'amliorations aux oprations du service d'assistance. COMPTENCES Bilinguisme de prfrence (anglais et franais) Au moins un an d'exprience dans le service la clientle ou dans un centre d'appels Excellentes comptences en service la clientle et trs bonnes comptences en communication Connaissance pratique du dpannage de matriel informatique/logiciels Capacit d'analyser et de rsoudre les problmes lis au matriel et aux logiciels sur des systmes informatiques de bureau personnel ou domestique Capacit d'assumer plusieurs responsabilits simultanment dans un environnement dynamique Connaissance pratique de Windows 10 Positivisme, dynamisme, esprit d'quipe CUS19325 - - New Brunswick - CA - 2019/07/03
