Job Description:
About Snorkel At Snorkel, we believe meaningful AI doesn’t start
with the model, it starts with the data. We’re on a mission to help
enterprises transform expert knowledge into specialized AI at
scale. The AI landscape has gone through incredible changes between
2015, when Snorkel started as a research project in the Stanford AI
Lab, to the generative AI breakthroughs of today. But one thing has
remained constant: the data you use to build AI is the key to
achieving differentiation, high performance, and production-ready
systems. We work with some of the world’s largest organizations to
empower scientists, engineers, financial experts, product creators,
journalists, and more to build custom AI with their data faster
than ever before. Excited to help us redefine how AI is built?
Apply to be the newest Snorkeler! About the Role Reporting directly
to the GM of DaaS, this role is responsible for driving
high-impact, cross-functional initiatives that ensure the DaaS
business runs on time, operates with rigor, scales effectively and
hits its goals. You will act as a thought partner to and extension
of the GM , owning core operating rhythms (e.g., WBRs), holding the
pen or input to DaaS, GTM, and functional teams’ strategies, and
stepping in as GM for some of Snorkel’s most important bets. This
role will also temporarily own functions or problem spaces as the
organization scales, helping to define structure, build clarity,
and transition ownership as dedicated teams are stood up. This is a
highly visible, ambiguous, and influential role suited for a strong
operator who thrives in fast-moving environments and can balance
strategic thinking with hands-on execution. About You You are a
proven operator with strong business judgment, analytical rigor,
and a bias toward action. You are comfortable navigating ambiguity,
driving alignment across senior stakeholders, and owning outcomes
end to end. You bring structure to complex problems, know how to
prioritize ruthlessly when needed, and are energized by building
and scaling businesses. You have a demonstrated track record of
P&L ownership and growing a business — you have owned a number
and know what it takes to hit it. You are equally comfortable
zooming out to define strategy and zooming in to unblock execution,
and you are willing to roll up your sleeves to fill gaps when
needed. You thrive when juggling multiple high-priority,
high-stakes initiatives simultaneously without dropping the ball —
and you have built and led teams with wide portfolios and broad
remits, keeping them focused, motivated, and executing even when
the priorities are shifting beneath you. Responsibilities Partner
closely with the GM of DaaS to define and execute the overall DaaS
strategy. Own and drive core operating rhythms for the DaaS
business (e.g., WBRs, planning cycles, performance reviews). Act as
a GM for select strategic bets or initiatives, owning outcomes end
to end. Lead high-impact, cross-functional initiatives that cut
across Product, Delivery, Supply, Sales, Finance, and Engineering.
Hold the pen on DaaS strategy, including identifying key bets,
tradeoffs, and growth opportunities as the business scales. Step in
to temporarily own functions or problem spaces until permanent
teams or leaders are hired. Build and manage a small,
high-performing Strategy & Ops team as the organization grows. Use
data and analysis to inform decision-making, track performance, and
surface risks and opportunities early. Requirements 8 years of
experience in strategy, operations, consulting, general management,
or related roles; 3 years of people management experience. Proven
experience driving high visibility cross-functional initiatives in
high-growth environments. Ability to bring structure and clarity to
ambiguous, complex problem spaces. Demonstrated P&L ownership
with a strong track record of growing revenue, managing costs, and
driving business outcomes — you have owned a number and know what
it takes to hit it. Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent
high-priority initiatives simultaneously while leading a team with
a wide portfolio and broad remit — you know how to keep yourself
and your team focused and moving without losing quality or
momentum. Strong analytical skills and comfort using data to drive
business decisions. Exceptional communication skills, with the
ability to translate complex ideas into clear, compelling
narratives — written, verbal, and visual — for executives. Strong
leadership and maturity to build (attract, hire, retain) and scale
a world-class organization. Bias to action and agility — you move
quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment. No job is beneath
you and you lead from the front. Entrepreneurial mindset with a
passion for building and scaling new business models. Strong
business acumen — assessing risks, opportunities, and trade-offs to
support short-term needs and long-term goals. Bonus points for:
Experience in AI and marketplace, services, or data-driven
businesses. The salary range for this San Francisco Bay Area–based
position is $200,000–$280,000 base plus an on-target earnings
(OTE), with an 80/20 split between base salary and variable
compensation. Be Your Best at Snorkel Joining Snorkel AI means
becoming part of a company that has market proven solutions, robust
funding, and is scaling rapidly—offering a unique combination of
stability and the excitement of high growth. As a member of our
team, you’ll have meaningful opportunities to shape priorities and

our ongoing success. Whether you’re looking to deepen your
technical expertise, explore leadership opportunities, or learn new
skills across multiple functions, you’re fully supported in
building your career in an environment designed for growth,
learning, and shared success. Snorkel AI is proud to be an Equal
Employment Opportunity employer and is committed to building a team
