Job Description:

Wipro is seeking a self-motivated Cnntract Lawyer, team player (but capable of working independently) for its growing business in US. As a counsel in the Legal and Compliance team of Wipro, the candidate will be expected to draft, review and negotiate global contracts for the Wipro US sales team. The position requires regular communications with key business stakeholders, sharp business acumen, excellent contract drafting skills and the ability to negotiate effectively with external clients and vendors to conclude complex commercial contracts with a focus on IT, BPO and/or outsourcing arrangements, while successfully protecting the interests of the company. The position also requires supporting and counseling business on pre-disputes including sending and responding to notices; conducting training sessions for various business stakeholders; coaching and mentoring junior lawyers of the team. The attorney will be part of a dynamic, collegial and growing practice group within the corporate legal department.- 7-12 years of relevant legal experience (preferably at least 3 years in-house)- J.D. from an accredited law school; must be a member of a State Bar.- Excellent oral and written communications skills- Good academic credentials- Preferred Location - New Jersey, New York
