The successful candidate will be able to provide clinical expertise to patients and their families, be a resource for health care providers, and participate in research and teaching programs. He/she provides Palliative Care consultation to medical teams, patients and families, as well as nursing, social services, and spiritual care staff. Palliative Care Physicians should demonstrate exemplary and compassionate clinical skills and embrace a collaborative interdisciplinary team approach. Candidate should be board eligible for Hospice and Palliative Medicine. Enthusiastic physicians with the skills and energy to play an important role within our NCI Comprehensive Cancer Center are encouraged to apply.
