Job Description:
Catholic Charities, Diocese of Metuchen is a non-profit, social
services agency dedicated to helping those individuals in need and
improving the quality of life to members in the community. We
provide programs to four counties throughout New Jersey and have
successfully grown in 35 years to include more than 24 sites and
over 80 programs. We are currently looking for a professional who
seeks to be part of a dynamic, high performing
organization.CounselorNew Brunswick, NJWork with a DCP&P
contracted caseload of children placed in relative or non-relative
Resource Homes. Provide Supervised Visitation in a therapeutic/
supportive environment while providing psychoeducational
interventions to biological parents and their children working
towards family reunification.Services include providing in-home,
in-community and in-office visits to DCP&P referred families;
facilitating case conference with DCP&P and other providers;
electronic data entry of records and participation in approved
agency trainings, as appropriate.Requires schedule flexibility
including 2-3 evenings per week until 8:00PM.Requires a Bachelors
degree in social work or related field, as well as a valid drivers
license with an acceptable driving history. Bilingual
(Spanish/English) candidates are preferred.We offer a comprehensive
