The Radiology Technical
Supervisor is Responsible for the operation of assigned
section(s). Supervises the examinations and/or treatments performed
on patients as prescribed by a licensed Physician. Participates in
the administrative activities of assigned
Requires the following licensure/registry as appropriate: Nuclear
Medicine - NJ License in NM Technology X-Ray, CT, MRI, Mammo - NJ
License in X-Ray Technology
Five (5) years experience in the related specialty
Interpersonal and communication skills sufficient for effective
interaction with patients, physicians and staff
Ensures proper staffing of Department and efficient scheduling of
all patients. Posts staff schedules and ensures that scheduled
patients wait no more than thirty (30) minutes if the patient is
available to the Department on
Ensures the administration of assigned
all inspections of accrediting and regulatory agencies with no
repeated deficiencies and no fines
with Quality Control Officer to quickly resolve any clinical
equipment service issues and adjusts room schedules to accommodate
required preventive maintenance service. Informs Management of
unresolvable service issues
a level of supplies that does not exceed that required to operate
the department for ten (10) days
Management with a written labor and/or supply expense variance
report as required

Technologist to daily, weekly and monthly duties
charges and correct (daily report)
/ MSSS order necessary supplies
clinical instructor for MCC students
service calls and service records
ED satisfaction meetings for adult/peds
NM dose verification (2/3 month)

Ensures service excellence through counseling, evaluating and
educating all department staff.
100% attendance of all new staff at hospital and
department-specific orientation. Ensures 100% familiarity with
Hospital code and emergency policies and procedures.
supervise and mentor staff for maximum quality and team
all staff in accordance with current Human Resources policy with
respect to evaluation criteria, frequency and verification of

Assists in accomplishing Press Ganey and CQI
programs and activities designed to reach Press Ganey goals (90th %
