Job Description Summary:
Responsible for the maintenance and repair of all building
systems in back of the house, guest and condo areas; HVAC,
electrical, plumbing, carpentry, kitchen equipment, pool equipment
and fitness equipment.
Working knowledge of variety of trades with the ability to
troubleshoot related equipment and work independently in solving
problems. Availability to work various hours including evenings,
weekends and holidays. High school diploma. One year experience in
same position in hospitality industry is preferred. Must have black
Identifies problems with equipment, initiates work orders, able
to accomplish work orders and complete all necessary repairs
without assistance. Performs preventive maintenance on systems
including low pressure boiler, refrigeration system and maintains
mechanical logs in an organized manner. Responds to guest concerns
related to equipment in guest room and repairs. Complete the duty
rounds checklists and corrects noted problems. Responsible for
correct use of office equipment, EMS system and Life Safety Systems
Willing to be cross-trained in all aspects of the department.
Initiates and maintains effective communication with operational
areas. Reports and follows up on maintenance deficiencies. Keeps
exterior pathways clear of snow/ice and safe for all.
Provide assistance in other job classifications when necessary
to ensure highest level of guest satisfaction is provided. Respond
to any reasonable task as assigned by supervisor.
