NJ RN License, Phlebotomy or IV certification, Current CPR certification required. Previous blood donor collection or therapeutic apheresis experience desirable. Must be flexible with work assignments and be able to cover department at other RWJ hospital locations. Must be able to assess patients, donors, observe for changes in condition and intervene appropriately. Primary responsibilities will be to collect blood products (manual and using automated devices), provide medical screening of blood donors, and handle blood donor reactions for both in-house and mobile drive operations. Travel within the State will be required to support blood drive operations. Must possess good interpersonal and organizational skills. Must be flexible and available to work days/evenings and weekends as needed.
