Join us and make a difference.Position SummaryServing as primary interface between the Commercial GM/Brand Leads and Global Supply Chain. -Accountable for the in-market management, coordination, and communication of finished goods supply health for assigned markets / customers. -Deputizes for the Executive Director, CPSO BU leader as required. Chair and facilitate robust Market S&OP and facilitates resolution of short-term events (STEM) in collaboration with Supply Chain Leaders (SCPL, NSP). Roll up and coordinate input into Commercial BU Level S&OP.
Key Responsibilities

  • Act as primary point of contact to Market GMs and the Commercial organization for ongoing and ad-hoc supply topics
  • Represent GSC on Commercial Brand xLT teams as required
  • Coach and develop Supply Orchestrators
  • Key market representation into Global Supply Chain
  • Responsible for Country Market S&OP and Continuous improvement including roll up into Commercial BU level S&OP, supporting markets with revenue of up to $3bn
  • Lead collaboration with Supply Chain Product Lead (SCPL) and related Supply Team, as necessary, provide Input/output from Market S&OP, Brand Strategy, etc. to support network optimization
  • CPSO Lead for allocation meetings, manage supply allocation with Global Supply Planning and effectively communicate status and risk with Commercial. Effectively communicate tender forecasts/confirmations to Supply, coordinate with sign off risk authorization with Market GMs. Message the business opportunity as well as complex supply situations into understandable information for Commercial
  • Support end-to-end Supply Chain optimization and agility and ensure continuity of supply of products to BMS Markets & Customers under the scope of responsibility
  • Invest in creating and developing strong relationships with BMS markets and key stakeholders to ensure a customer focused orientation and alignment
  • Ensure proper discussion and alignment during Demand Consensus Meetings, lead for market insights in the Demand review, participate in GSR while effectively managing messaging of future supply risk with Commercial
  • Lead or support enterprise product deletions and divestitures within market scope if applicable.
  • Drive business segmentation and own execution based on defined segments
  • Support CPSO Launch Team as required for local business case evaluation.
  • Responsible for the on-going monitoring and overall GxP health check for Global Supply Chain related processes for the Country
  • Understand Commercial Business terms, priorities, and connect business strategy to translate back into GSC & articulating GSC capabilities (or non-capabilities)
    Qualifications & Experience
    • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business related function, preferably with focus on Operations, or related field of study. Masters/MBA a plus
    • 7-10 years of experience in Global roles within Commercial Supply Chain Management, Market Supply Operations or Planning in the biotech/pharma industry, or comparable experiences within the industry
    • Strong presentation and business case development skills -
    • Understanding of Finance principles, P&L, Budget, and Commercially-relevant business terminology -
    • Understanding of supply chain capabilities including cost of services that drive innovative solutions and respond quickly to customer needs
    • Ability to influence and engage partners beyond functional responsibilities and deliver results
    • Demonstrated team and cross-functional stakeholder leadership skills
    • Demonstrated ability to attract, develop, and retain high-performing teams
    • Understanding of Forecasting, Demand Planning, and relevant KPIs, i.e. FA, MAPE, Bias
    • Strong communication skills (Verbal, Presentation, Written) to communicate effectively with executive level leadership such as SVPs, VPs, GMs
    • Demonstrated ability to resolve conflicts and make informed decisions under time pressure and strong negotiation skills
    • Business Acumen & Customer Relationship management Exposure
    • Ability to lead with agility and adapt quickly to competing priorities while remaining focused
    • Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines
