Join us and be a part of a team that is transforming supply chain at BMS.----Responsible for all Supply Chain activities required to support a brand/brands:

  • Deliver best-in-class E2E Brand Supply chain by increasing strategic focus on brand lifecycle and supply strategies leveraging enhanced system and analytics capabilities.--
  • Deliver SC brand strategy with objectives to enhance supply performance and optimize brand value within lifecycle.--
    • Mitigate risk to service/obsolescence and enable business continuity leading the brand Supply Chain Sub Team with a focus on strategic activities across the 0-10 year horizon.--
    • Enable network supply planning and finished goods planning organizations to focus on deliver on the plan of record and driving executional activities across 0-36-month horizon.--
    • Supply Chain Representative of the Global Operations Team (GO-Team) and drive Supply Chain Sub Team to deliver on GO Team strategy across the E2E planning organization and internal/external supply network.--
    • Drive Inventory increases/reductions in alignment with strategic needs of the brand(s).--
    • Lead relevant Supply Chain processes including interface with Supply and Demand planning, Long-Range Planning, Inventory Management, Business Continuity and Market Supply Operations.--
    • Facilitate Cross-functional engagement within GPS and between GPS, Regulatory, Finance, Quality, MS&T and Alliance Management (as applicable).--Key Responsibilities------------------------------------------
      • Represent Global Supply Chain on product focused at Global Operations Team (GO-Team) and Regulatory & Supply Team (RST); lead the SC sub-team to drive brand Supply chain performance
      • Develop annual E2E Product Supply Strategy (including inventory, sourcing strategies, logistics and business continuity)
      • Own & drive E2E value stream map improvements related to supply chain activities (training and processes)
      • Maintain regulatory and supply strategy (in partnership with Regulatory Lead) and supporting material control strategy (in partnership with Quality Product Lead)
      • Drive product launch strategy across network to deliver rapid launch execution across the supply chain.--
      • Assess Supply Chain Management impact during Change Management execution for process changes.--
      • Support GSR (responsible to escalate brand-level exceptions) and market S&OP (responsible to cascade down brand strategy).--Develop strategies to manage supply fragmentation.
      • Lead resolution of escalated global supply risks (through Allocation).--
      • Ensure Alliance Management and business partners aligned to brand strategy--
      • Endorse product scenario analysis from the Planning Team - confirm manufacturing plan is aligned to supply and demand requirements.--
      • Create strategic 'what-if' scenarios to proactively identify risks and opportunities when applicable, engaging with Long-term Planning for sourcing strategies as needed.Required Qualifications and desired experience--
        • Undergraduate Degree, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or Life Sciences
        • Advanced degree or certification in Supply Chain Management, Engineering. MBA strongly preferred.
          • Required: 10+ years of related experience in supply chain or manufacturing in a Pharmaceutical environment. Knowledge of/exposure to world class planning and execution processes and preferably supported by ERP and Advanced Planning Systems.-- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a leader of cross-functional teams and/or managing staff.------
          • Highly Preferred: SAP and Kinaxis Rapid Response hands-on experience for the purpose of planning and maintaining a pharmaceutical supply chain.------
          • Strongly Preferred: Good understanding and exposure to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and other regulatory requirements (EMA, TGA).--
          • Strongly Preferred: Experience in working internationally in a fast-paced, reputed, global pharmaceutical/Bio-Technology or Consumer company organized in a matrix structure.--
