DescriptionCommunity Options, Inc. is a national non-profit
agency providing services to individuals with disabilities in 12
states.We are now hiring a Registered Behavior Technician in
Middlesex, NJ. Registered behavior technicians work in homes,
schools, and community settings with children, adolescents, and
adults, using best practices to teach the critical skills needed
for everyone to live a meaningful and independent life. The ideal
candidate will have experience implementing individualized behavior
interventions in multiple settings. If you are passionate about

those new to the field.$25.00/ hrResponsibilitiesProvide onsite
services to participants with intellectual and developmental
disabilities through evidence based and data driven methodologies
that include trauma informed care and positive behavior
supportsModel and implement behavioral support strategies specified
in the Behavior Plan that assist the participant with acquiring,
retaining, improving, and generalizing the behavioral, self-help,
socialization, and adaptive skills necessary to function
successfully in the home and the communityProvide timely and
structured written feedback to the clinicians on the provision and
effectiveness of the Behavior Plan and strategiesParticipate in
onsite meetings or instructional sessions with the participant's
support network regarding the recommendations, strategies, and next
steps identified in the Behavior PlanCollect data on progress and
work collaboratively to ensure effective behavior reduction, skill
acquisition, and skill generalizationPrepare progress reports for
the participant's team as neededAdditional tasks and
responsibilities may be assignedEmployee must cooperate with the
license and department staff in any inspection, inquiry, or
investigationMinimum RequirementsHigh School Diploma or
GEDSuccessfully complete a 40-hour behavioral technician
trainingValid driver's license with a satisfactory driving
recordKnowledge of Positive Behavior SupportsAbility to implement
Behavior Plans independently and confidentlyExcellent time
management skillsEmployment is contingent upon successful
completion of checks of criminal background, central registry,
