YOUR ROLE

  • Be responsible for optimization of the Application Engineering role for Consumer Goods Adhesives at Henkel in a variety of different facets, including: assessing needs of the global team around how they can perform their job better, gaining insights from customers around expectations around the Application Engineering function, working on internal projects that can ensure that the function both meets current needs and evolves for future needs.
  • Own the Application Engineering Excellence Forum and associated project work, to ensure that a global team shares best practices and stay relevant in the different fast-moving consumer goods markets that are served. This also includes harmonization of best practices, including and not limited to visit reports, troubleshooting techniques, new trials, innovation, and various value calculations.
  • Assess and find opportunities to optimize our overall customer experience delivery
  • Work on projects that utilize big data and digitalization, including areas such as global laboratory footprint, capability consolidation and optimization, competitor databases, and implementation of current and future digital tools across the team
  • Additionally, lead the upskilling efforts within the global division for Consumer Goods Adhesives. This includes defining competency models for different roles, designing training curriculums based on identified needs, and also looking at ways to overall make members of both the commercial and functional teams have robust, relevant skillsets for their positions

    YOUR SKILLS

    • Bachelor's degree required with a MBA being preferred.
    • 2-3 years of proven experience in project management.
    • Ability to engage and lead people.
    • Strategic thinking and strong communication skills.
    • Strong Microsoft Office skills, specifically in Excel.
      The salary for this role is $94,100.00 - $135,400.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
